GILAD BLOOM AND XAVIER LUNA WILL BE DIRECTING AND FACILITATING THIS NEW VENTURE.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

The Bloom-Luna Tennis Academy puts a strong emphasis on technique, shot development, footwork and discipline. Our goal is for our students to achieve a level that will allow them to make it into a college team and / or play competitive tennis.

Our job is more than just teaching tennis. We see the program as also having an educational role in the lives of our students. We put a very strong emphasis on teaching the kids on court etiquette, being fair, manners, honesty, positive attitude and respect.

The Bloom-Luna Tennis Academy can help your child achieve his/her goals and become the best individual and tennis player he or she can be. Talk to the BLOOM-LUNA staff, to set up an optional Custom Tennis Program. For a nominal fee, we will design a custom training program suited to your child's specific needs.

We have identified 6 key elements to developing an advanced competitive tennis game:

  • Private Instruction
  • Clinics
  • Practice Time
  • Off-court conditioning
  • Competitive play
  • Nutritional counseling

Every player needs some or all of these in varying degrees to achieve optimal result.

BLOOM-LUNA will implement a holistic approach to tennis, which includes a practice schedule and workout schedule to help players improve and maintain the necessary level of physical fitness and strength. We will also introduce and emphasize the concepts of proper rest and nutrition along with insights into match preparation and the psychology of match play. As the program progresses, we will help select the appropriate tournament to further hone your child's skills. We also help the more serious and accomplished players find the right college.

Ultimately success comes from training and performing well over the long-term rather than winning in the short term, there is no short cut to success in athletic preparation.
